Story Analysis
Today we analyzed the story by quotes. We read 3 letters, and picked a quote from each letter. With the quote we picked a theme, topic, and we analyzed them. Even if people picked the same quote, everyone’s theme was still different.

Litotes- emphasizes point by using a word opposite to the condition Examples It was not the warmest day of the year. The school day was not that good. I wasn't that tall. Antithesis-use of a contrast in language to bring out a contrast in ideas. Examples : We are caught in war, wanting peace. We are torn by division, wanting unity.
