     Today in class, we focused on our sources. A lot of people had to leave to get their AP test papers. When they came back they all complained about having to pay for a test they didn’t want to take. I got my paper earlier last year, in August or September. 

     Today in class, we worked quietly on our projects. There were very few in our class, so many people were missing half of their group, if not all. Mr. Rease wasn’t here today.

    Today in class we limited our sources down. We only did four, and it was pretty easy, so far we have one for data, image, academic journal, and magazine/newspaper. Class was very easy to day. We were supposed to have an assembly with seniors AND juniors, but one teacher recommended that there just be seniors, so we didn’t get to go.

      Today in class we completed our research. We finished finding all of our sources. Mr. Rease changed his mind on how many we were supposed to have. Instead of doing 10 sources, we only needed 7. While I was on my field trip, the school did an awareness “presentation” for juniors and seniors. The skit was about drinking and driving. I didn’t get to see it in person, but everybody had videos and pictures.

      Today in class we finished our presentations. Only three people had to finish, so after that we watched a video. The video was about black people in the one percent. The one percent of reaching “the top” and being successful. We took notes on the video, today was pretty easy going.

      Today we presented our projects. I saw a few places I knew, but most of these places I didn’t know. I really wanted to go to a few of the vegan restaurants, they all looked really good. Some of the vegan restaurants had food that look like actual meat.

Today, we found sources on Dave Chappelles controversy. We watched a few comedy shows to determine if we were on the side that comedy was could, and we should keep it around, or if it was harmful to the community and we should let it go.

 Today we had a substitute. We worked on on our project.

 Today, we read and annotated a poem by Maya Angelou. The poem was about how our ancestors have been forgotten and taken for granted. We were also assigned a project. The project is to find black owned businesses in metro Atlanta.

Today we found MORE sources. I think this week most of my entries have been very similar. If not, the same. We learned how to find images. aww we’re also reminded how to cite our sources.

 Today in class we found more sources. Today we were looking for newspapers. I found the newspapers a little harder, most of them you had to pay for, so I had to rule those out. The ones that got my attention the most were the ones that ended up being the ones with subscriptions.

  Today in class we read the book wild for 40 minutes. We didn’t read as a class, but we worked in smaller groups, or in you wanted to, by yourself. I worked with a few other people, and we quickly got through it. We took seven quotes relating to the title of the chapter. After that, we were supposed to share our questions, but we have a tornado drill for about eight minutes, and then we had to leave.

     Today in class we found our sources. I think it was pretty easy, you just research and read, but I can see how someone might find it difficult or tedious. I found my source, and I forgot to put in in my file, but I’ll do it tonight. This class is kind of my wind down time, all my other classes have too much going on, it’s good to just sit down and do simpler tasks.

     Today in class we redid our introductions. This didn’t take long, so I mostly just sat around after I redid it. Mr. rease checked it for me, and that was really the end of class!

     Today Mr.Rease showed us how to properly sight sources. We follows him step by step, to learn how to do it ourselves. There was kind of a lot to remember, I forgot most of it, but I’ll ask my classmates.

Today in class we continued our synthesis essays. My group is still writing about the effects of social media. We were also told to read and create a few questions.
